Hinkley Team Transitions with the Retirement & Hiring of Key Sales Role

Hinkley recently announced the appointment of Marcus Guild as the new Western Regional Sales Manager, effective Monday, May 1. Guild will be taking over the role currently held by Rich Ryan, who will be retiring in June 2023. In this role, Guild will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing the sales reps in his territory while helping grow sales in his region.

"We are thrilled to welcome Marcus Guild to the team," said Jess Wiedemer, President of Hinkley. "We are confident that his leadership skills and experience in the decorative lighting industry will be invaluable in helping us achieve our sales goals. We’re looking forward to seeing all he accomplishes in this position.”

Guild brings 24 years of sales experience in the lighting industry. Most recently, he worked as the Western Regional Sales Manager at Kichler.

Hinkley would like to extend best wishes to Rich Ryan, current Western Regional Sales Manager, on his upcoming retirement in June. Rich joined Hinkley in October of 2009, dedicating 14 years of unmatched service to his customers, sales reps, and Hinkley.

“Rich has been a key player on the sales team, managing the showrooms and sales reps for the North American states west of the Mississippi, including Canada and Alaska,” said Wiedemer. “Rich’s sales leadership has led Hinkley to achieve sales growth with new business channels and additional product categories. We are sad to see him go but wish him all the best in this new chapter.”

Hinkley is excited to formally celebrate Rich’s well-deserved retirement during the upcoming Lightovation show in June.
