Live Training

Throughout the year, ALA offers live training to its members in a variety of forms. ALA hosts monthly webinars, live training sessions during LIGHTOVATION and ALA's Conference, as well as an intensive annual Residential Lighting Training Course. Learn more about upcoming training sessions here.

Free Training

ALA is proud to offer a library of free training courses, exclusively available to members. The courses are updated throughout the year and cover a variety of topics. Click here to register and view the course library.

Accreditations & Certifications

ALA's professional accreditations and certifications provide members with the opportunity to demonstrate their extensive industry knowledge to their peers and customers alike. Currently, ALA offers two professional accreditations, including Lighting Associate and Lighting Specialist, and two certifications, including Certified Lighting Manufacturer Representative and Certified Lighting Consultant. Sales Training

ALA's newest training project includes a 10-part series on crucial sales training topics. This series, developed in partnership with Mark Okun, LS, of Mark Okun Consulting, provides the fundamental and foundational information needed in the retail selling process.
