ALA Launches Women in the Industry Group

During the ALA Conference in Vancouver, the association will launch a new group for women in the lighting industry to network, mentor and brainstorm with each other.

On Tuesday, Sept. 12, conference attendees will meet for drinks, mingling and to share preliminary ideas for future meetings. During the event, the group will discuss how to help each other’s businesses and careers, as well as improve the lighting industry.

The association hopes to create an event that best fits the needs of its membership. ALA members are encouraged to share their ideas for the inaugural meeting and future meetings with Beth Bentley, ALA director of conferences, at bbentley@americanlightingassoc.com.
