Eric Borden Stepping Aside As President/CEO Of Verozza Lighting

After three years leading the growth of Verozza Lighting, Eric Borden, LS, CPC, announced his decision to step aside from his position as President and CEO of Verozza Lighting. Borden will continue to be involved with ALA and the lighting industry through his firm Pathfinder Consultants, Inc.

"Over the years, it has been an incredible honor and privilege to lead this exceptional team," said Borden of his work with Verozza. "Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones and navigated through challenges with resilience and determination. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together, and I have full confidence in the team's ability to continue driving the company's success in the future."

Effective May 3, 2024, Borden will begin the transition process to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities. During this time, he will be working closely with Verozza's ownership to identify roles and responsibilities for those who will lead Verozza Lighting into its next chapter.

"I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one within the Verozza family for your dedication, hard work, and unwavering support throughout my tenure," added Borden. "It has been a privilege to work alongside such talented individuals, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this extraordinary team helping Verozza grow from a local to a full North American company."

Borden is committed to ensuring a seamless transition and will remain involved as an outside consultant through his independent firm, Pathfinder Consultants, Inc. Borden's longstanding involvement with ALA will continue as he serves as chair of the 2024 ALA Conference, which will be held Sept. 22-24, in Palm Beach, Fla.

“I love this industry and will continue to stay involved through Pathfinder Consultants," explained Borden. "I am most exiting to chairing this year’s ALA conference in Palm Beach! I hope to see many of my friends and colleagues this September!”

Borden expressed his confidence that, with the current commitment and passion, Verozza Lighting will continue to thrive and achieve even greater success in the future. He added, "It has been an honor to serve as President and CEO of Verozza Lighting, and I look forward to seeing the continued success of the company under new leadership."
