Renowned Workplace Strategist to Present at ALA Conference

During the 2023 ALA Conference in Lake Tahoe, Calif., Sept. 10-12, author and workplace strategist Jeff Butler will present two seminars focused on successful hiring and retention of high-quality, dedicated employees. 

Jeff’s explores human behavior within the working world and focuses on how different cultures and employees interact, which spans more than 40 industries on four continents. He studies common threads of behavior in a range of industries, as well as with leading companies like Google, Amazon, John Deere, and Coldwell Banker. As a researcher and practitioner, he also runs a consulting company and a tech company allowing him to test his ideas in action. His ideas have made it to TEDx twice and appeared on dozens of media outlets, including in two books on human behavior, “The Authentic Workplace” and “The Key to the New You.” 

During the ALA Conference, one of Jeff’s seminars will focus on the complete lifecycle from hiring and managing to retaining successful employees. Each segment will cover key areas where companies often lose their talent, ranging from mistakes in recruitment to failing to adjust management styles to accommodate changing workplace expectations. He will provide both high-level theories as well as tactical strategies for workplace leaders to guide their teams to talent victories. 

Jeff will also present on leading a multi-generational workforce, providing a roadmap to how leading companies across the world maximize their employees’ leadership abilities. He will also explain how to create a team where leadership is encouraged and cultivated to benefit an entire organization.
