Connecticut Lighting Centers Celebrates 50 Years in Business, Showroom Grand Opening

Sunday, Sept. 30, Connecticut Lighting Centers welcomed industry members and the community to the grand opening of their relocated showroom, Restoration Lighting Gallery, and distribution center. The relocation comes as the company celebrates 50 years as a family-owned and operated business.

The company’s new, 18,000 sq. ft. showroom brings together their showroom, Restoration Lighting Gallery, and distribution center under one roof. The showroom features stylish displays of beautiful lighting, ceiling fans, decorative hardware, home accents, vintage lighting, restoration and repair services, lamp shades, mirrors, giftware, window shades and more.

ALA President and CEO Eric Jacobson traveled to Hartford to celebrate the grand opening. “I am glad to have joined Connecticut Lighting Centers and the Director family in celebrating this momentous occasion,” said Jacobson. “For 50 years, Connecticut Lighting Centers have provided lighting solutions for the greater Hartford area, and the new location combines their previous showroom, warehouse, and restoration business so they can maximize their service to the community for the next 50 years. I was excited to learn that Todd Director has been appointed the new president and look forward to what his leadership will bring to the lighting industry and his community.”
