Virtual Residential Lighting Training Course to be held this summer
ALA recently announced its next virtual Residential Lighting Training Course, which guides participants through the association's Lighting Specialist (LS) accreditation.
This course is consistently one of ALA’s most popular training programs and has become even more valuable to ALA members as it has moved towards a virtual format. The course will be led by one of ALA’s most popular instructors, Joe Rey-Barreau, AIA, IES, as he teaches the material from the Residential Lighting Training Manual and prepares students to take the LS exam at the completion of the course.
The four-day class will run as a combination of live Zoom calls and a webinar-based recorded library of courses. Only students registered for the class will have access to the training materials. All live sessions are recorded and available in case a student misses one of the training sessions.
Zoom meetings will be held during the following times on July 25, July 28, Aug. 1, and Aug. 4.
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) - Live Zoom call
2:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) – Live Zoom call
Class fee is $575 per participant and includes four days of virtual training with Rey-Barreau and the webinar-based library of courses. Members can register online here. Participants are required to bring their own training manual, which can be purchased online here. The manual fee includes the LS exam fee.
