ALA to Host 2021 Virtual Residential Lighting Training Course this February

ALA’s popular live Residential Lighting Training Course will be again held virtually in February 2021 with long-time instructor Joe Rey-Barreau, AIA, IES. Classes will start Monday, Feb. 1 and are open to all ALA members, although there are only a limited number of spaces available.

The course will run as a combination of live Zoom calls and break-out sessions, along with a recorded library of webinar-based courses. Only students registered for the class will have access to this training material. Live class sessions led by Rey-Barreau will run each Monday in February from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Central, and participants will be encouraged to watch the required training videos for that day, followed by a live close-out session from 3:30 – 5 p.m., Central.

The course registration fee is $575 per participant, which includes all training material and live sessions mentioned above. All participants are required to have their own copies of the Residential Lighting Training Manual, which can be purchased online for $359. The course cost includes the Lighting Specialist exam fee.

When: Mondays, February 1, 8, 15 and 22
