ALA to Host Conference Events Benefiting Education Foundation

During the 2018 Annual Conference in Asheville, N.C., the association will host two recreational events benefitting the ALA Education Foundation. On the afternoons of Sunday, Sept. 23, and Monday, Sept. 24, there will guided waterfall hikes through the DuPont State Forest, and on the morning of Monday, Sept. 24, the annual golf tournament will be hosted on site at the Omni Grove Park Inn.

Portions of the proceeds from the registration fees for both activities will go directly to the ALA Education Foundation, which supports development and maintenance of ALA’s many education offerings. Both of these events have limited space and pre-registration is required. To learn more about the activities and to register, visit ALAConference.com.

In addition to the registration proceeds, there are also sponsorship opportunities connected to the events, which also benefit the Foundation. Sponsors are recognized in various ways throughout the conference. Members interested in sponsoring part of these events may contact Wendy Rollins at Wendy@ALALighting.com.
