ALA Seeks Innovative Members for Annual Forum
ALA will host the third Larry Sayah Innovation Forum during the 2018 Conference in Asheville, N.C. The forum, sponsored by the ALA Charitable Endowment Fund, celebrates the innovative ideas lighting professionals are utilizing in their businesses to advance the industry and increase the sale of lighting products.
This forum was developed by Jon Sayah, president, and Richard Sayah, vice president, of Fleco Industries. The forum recognizes Larry Sayah’s fifty-plus year career and continuing dedication to providing creative and entrepreneurial innovation to the lighting industry and strives to create an environment in which ALA members can share their experiences to fosture further industry advancement.
This year, the association hopes to welcome more presenters who are willing to develop and deliver quick, hard-hitting presentations about their ideas. ALA members who apply and are chosen to present will receive a financial incentive for their time spent developing the presentation.
Following the presentation, a live poll will be conducted in which forum attendees will pick the idea they felt best captured the spirit of the forum. The presenter that wins this live poll will receive an additional financial incentive to go towards helping to further develop their ideas and their business.
An official call for entries will be sent out to all ALA members. Those who already have ideas developed and would like to be considered as presenters during the forum may email rbell@americanlightingassoc.com.
