2017 Issue of Lighting Magazine Debuts

In April, more than 300,000 copies of the 2017 issue of Lighting magazine hit newsstands and were distributed to ALA showroom members who support the BiNational Advertising and PR Program.

Lighting is the only national consumer magazine specifically designed to promote the importance of home lighting to consumers and interior designers. The magazine is produced annually through a partnership between ALA and Meredith Corporation’s Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publications. This issue features additional pages, as well as upgraded stock, which is in-line with other high-end design publications.

New this year is ALA’s Lighting Planning Guide, produced in collaboration with Bravo Business Media. This new publication is an excellent companion piece to Lighting magazine. While the magazine inspires consumers to think about the need for quality lighting, Lighting Planning Guide takes them through the lighting design and buying process. The guide is a great piece as is, and can be customized to show off your showroom with specialized content. The planning guides are being shipped to showrooms with Lighting magazine.

For the next 12 months, Lighting will be promoted to millions of consumers and lighting industry professionals through print and online channels including BHG.com, Traditional Home, Home Accents Today, enLIGHTenment, Lighting & Décor, Décor, Elegant Homes, and the ALA website.

ALA-member showrooms interested in participating in the BiNational Advertising and PR Program and receiving copies of the magazine may contact Larry Lauck, ALA executive vice president, at llauck@americanlightingassoc.com or 800-605-4448.
