ALA to Close Conference With  Famous Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band

After two full days of business strategy sessions and lighting education at the 2024 ALA Conference in Palm Beach, attendees will wind down with a closing party that will recreate the relaxing vibe and sense of community enjoyed by Jimmy Buffett concert fans.

Since that atmosphere of togetherness and positivity of Parrot Heads are also the hallmarks of an ALA Conference, ALA has hired Florida’s best-known Jimmy Buffett tribute band, the Caribbean Chillers, to bring their special magic to the Conference’s closing event on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The Caribbean Chillers are known for their “authentic recreation of what you’d hear and experience at a live Jimmy Buffett concert” and the outdoor oceanfront setting was selected to enhance that experience for ALA Conference attendees.
