Course: Beautiful Lighting for Every Home

In residential lighting the transition from incandescent to LED light sources is almost complete but still presents challenges and disruptions as well as great benefits and new opportunities. While many LED products provide excellent light quality, comparing and choosing them from a huge range of new options can be difficult. But LEDs can also do things never before possible, enabling greater design freedom and better lighting. This presentation shows LED applications in residential lighting following the enduring principles of good lighting design: light layers, lighting people, and balancing daylight and electric light. With an informed understanding of how to design with LEDs, truly beautiful light can be realized in all homes.
