Shine Brighter in 2025: Membership Update
As we close out 2024 and look to 2025, we are excited to announce a restructuring of ALA’s membership categories designed to support continued growth in the association and better align with the direction in which the industry is headed.
This change includes an overhaul and an increase in ALA’s membership dues. The ALA Executive Committee, ALA Board of Governors, and ALA Committee Chairs have closely examined the organization’s programs and finances and are in support of this realignment.
ALA is committed to ALA Reimagined for You, Our Members, including enhancing the member experience! With that, ALA is modernizing. Over the next few months, we are making changes. Big changes. We ask for your patience as we roll out a new member platform, website, and way to communicate with you!
STEP ONE: Happening Now! 2025 ALA Membership Renewal! Using ALA’s new membership software, create an account for your company, make your 2025 dues declaration, and renew your membership for the new year! For renewal information, click here.
STEP TWO: After Renewal! Update your information on ALA's My Glue platform, connect and add your team to your membership, and prepare for ALA’s new member platform. This step will focus on collecting updated data from you so we can better serve you and your team. At this time, the ALA website/dashboard at www.alamembers.com will continue to be the education and training hub.
STEP THREE: Begin engaging on ALA’s new member platform. Chat in the community group, connect with other members through virtual business card exchange, and start tracking your certifications and education hours.
STEP FOUR: Unveil our new ALA Website, ALA’s new member platform, and shift from the old website and dashboard to our updated member portal! This new website will better connect our members to each other and the public.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding the ALA timeline, ALA membership, or the renewal process! ALA is so grateful for our loyal members and the patience you are offering during this transition to a more member-focused and member-engaged Association.
