Tuesday, September 10, 2024/Categories: News, ALA News, Conference

You already know AI is expanding in its capability every day, but how does this rapid growth apply to your lighting showroom, manufacturing operations, and lighting rep agency?

ALA Conference keynote speaker Adam Markel, co-founder & CEO of WorkWell Labs and author of Change Proof: Leveraging the Power of Uncertainty to Build Long-term Resilience, will share his insights on how each ALA member can cultivate a “change-proof culture with AI” within their own organizations and create a future-ready workforce by applying some convenient tools and practices that he will detail in his keynote.

More than performing simple scheduling and marketing tasks, AI tools can be utilized to enhance machine learning and data analytics as well as improve the work-life balance of your employees.

According to Markel, one word sums up success in even the toughest of times: Resilience. He explains, “Resilience is the unsung hero of high performance and the key to long-term success.” Evolving your strategy to embrace new technology, such as AI, is crucial for business survival.

Markel will help ALA members navigate the adoption of AI in the workplace and will share effective strategies employed by teams and leaders to foster learning and embrace change, growth, and innovation. ALA members will gain a comprehensive understanding of the strategic benefits, challenges, and effective strategies for adopting AI in the workplace so that they can ultimately position their teams for success.

Following his keynote, Markel will hold a breakout session that will demonstrate how AI can be used in the workplace to reduce employees’ stress, promote mental health, and foster a culture of wellness that will boost employee satisfaction and productivity.

You won’t want to miss Markel’s presentations and all of the highly specialized speakers that ALA has selected for its annual Conference.
