2018 ALA Conference Information

Registration for the 2018 ALA Annual Conference in Asheville, N.C., Sept. 24-26, is now live at This year’s event will take place at the Omni Grove Park Inn, a stunning resort nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains that provides an idillic setting for members to network and enhance their industry knowledge, all while exploring the area’s natural beauty. This setting is popular among tourists from around the world, and many conference attendees will likely turn the days leading up to or following the event into a vacation. Hotel Group Rate Rooms
As always, ALA has negotiated a group rate at the Omni Grove Park Inn for Confernce attendees. Members are encouraged to book their hotel rooms as soon as possible. There are a wide array of rooms available to visitors, therefore, ALA staff recommend members call the Omni Grove Park Inn’s dedicated reservation call center to learn more about the options and reserve their ideal room at 800-438-5800. Run-of-house room rate is $249 and upgrades start at $279.

Showroom Scholarships Available

Sports Sponsorship Opportunities
This year, the annual ALA Golf Tournament will be held on property at the Omni Grove Park Inn. As always, there are a variety of sponsorship opportunities available and all proceeds go directly to the ALA Education Foundation.
